Your Guide To The Ultimate Halloween Weekend In Denver

Halloween has become one of Denver’s most anticipated holidays, and there’s no shortage of eerie, exciting ways to celebrate; the only thing scarier than a last-minute costume is figuring out your game plan for the night.

Which is why we’ve conjured up a bewitching guide to help you make the most of Halloween – discovering the best spots and skipping the rest, because even magic runs on borrowed time.

FOR THE ELEGANTLY WICKED

A Glass With A Drink In It

Something brews in velvet shadows at the exquisitely sinister Poka Luna. Poka Lola Social Club has transformed into a world filled with mystery, wonder, and elevated, seasonal cocktails for the entire month of October. Enter a world alight with the flames of everlasting candles and shadows that beckon with the promise of spectral sips. Step in and take a seat: Poka Luna invites you to sip the iconic Cursed Skull, complete with glowing ice cubes and house-made coconut cream, or the crowd-favorite Holy Water, topped with a coveted blue-cheese-stuffed-olive garnish.

From drifting planchettes on Ouija Wednesdays to Tarot Tuesdays, Poka Luna holds enchantments every evening, right up to Halloween.

The Poka Luna pop-up runs through October 31st, 2025.

DINNER FOR THE DEAD

Begin your weekend on Thursday, October 30th with a night filled with less frights and more fancies at an Evening of Spirits at Kachina Cantina.

We will gather among marigolds from 6 - 8pm to celebrate Día De Los Muertos, and to spend an enchanting evening savoring four courses paired with exquisite expressions from Union Mezcal. From Octopus A La Plancha with fresh cucumber avocado mousse, to Charred Hanger Steak with a roasted poblano purée, to the rich Abuelita’s Chocolate Pot De Creme with smoked cajeta and more, every bite is an homage to culture and history.

Whether you’re staying at The Maven or exploring everything downtown has to offer on Halloween weekend, an Evening of Spirits invites you to step through the doors and savor the flavors of tradition.

Tickets are $65 and can be purchased here.

SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY GROOVES….

A Group Of People In A Room With Lights

….And it shimmers under the stars with disco, drinks, and dancing. On Halloween night, Dairy Block transforms into Disco Mystique, a one-night-only spectacle of DJs, dancing, cocktails, and dazzling performances that shimmer far past the witching hour. Prepare for an evening of queens, hypnotic beats, and bold looks, right here on the Block.

Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased here. If you joined us under the moon, book a stay at The Maven with rates starting $225 (fees included) and waived parking, only on Halloween night.

SOMETHING TO SWEETEN THE HAUNTS

Morning calls, and LoDough Bakery answers. Located just up the ramp to Dairy Block and a few steps to the left, LoDough Bakery is a go-to for breakfast sweets like the Pumpkin Spice Latte Croissant (a delight to behold with its orange stripes), coffees and lattes, or savory bites such as a giant pretzel or Cubano Croissant.

On November 1st from 3 - 4:30pm, head to Kachina Cantina to celebrate Día De Los Muertos one last time with Sips & Sugar Skulls, a sugar skull decorating class in partnership with Skulls by Adriana. Class includes all necessary materials and one house margarita. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.

MIMOSAS AND MAYHEM AWAIT

Calling all divas! Denver Milk Market is hosting Scream Queens on November 2nd from 11am - 1pm, a special Halloween take on their weekly Drag Bingo Brunch. Keep the spirits alive and grab a mimosa, a bingo board, and a seat to prepare for the fright of your life – but with a touch of glitter.

Enjoy a Breakfast Pizza or Crab Benedict from Fuso and let fate take the reins: when BINGO appears on the board, you can choose from several prizes including gift cards to your favorite spots around the market.
