BALL ARENA
For live music a little closer to home, Ball Arena is just a 10 minute walk from The Maven, and is known to host a wide variety of events throughout the year like basketball, hockey, and of course, concerts.
This fall and winter you can catch some of the nation’s biggest names like Garth Brooks on September 4-6 and the Jonas Brothers on December 9, all without worrying about parking or grabbing an uber after the show.
Before heading down the block, stop by Poka Lola for a pre-concert cocktail. Poka Lola’s upcoming fall menu will spotlight seasonal ingredients, playful names, and cocktails made for sipping before a night out. A new food menu is also on the way, so keep an eye out for elevated bar bites to keep your concert crew fueled.
Looking for even more music? Poka Lola hosts its own live music every Saturday, featuring DJ Kelen who spins a collection of vinyl records. Stop in for a happy hour, a pre-dinner drink, or a nightcap to keep the music going even after the concert ends.

MISSION BALLROOM
For a night of live music in Denver with big energy, head to Mission Ballroom in RiNo, just a 7 minute drive from The Maven. This modern indoor concert venue hosts a wide range of artists and genres, from indie and rock to electronic and everything in between.
Mission Ballroom is a little farther from The Maven than Ball Arena, but it’s an easy trip to one of Denver’s most popular concert venues. With a packed calendar of touring artists throughout the year, Mission Ballroom is a great option for discovering your next favorite artist or seeing your favorite band again.

SUMMIT MUSIC HALL
Located just a block away on Blake Street in the heart of LoDo, Summit Music Hall is another great option for catching live music in Denver. The multi-level venue brings a steady rotation of touring artists, DJs, and genre-spanning shows to downtown, making it an easy addition to a night out near The Maven.
This fall’s lineup includes everything from rock and electronic acts to Latin and pop-inspired nights, with upcoming shows including Dogstar, Blade Rave, Club 90s Presents MJ Night, and more.

BLUEBIRD THEATER
If you’re looking for a place that’s a little smaller, head over to Bluebird Theater on East Colfax. With a capacity of around 500 people, this historic Denver venue offers a more intimate concert experience than the city’s larger arenas and amphitheaters.
Originally opened in 1915, Bluebird Theater has a long history as a neighborhood entertainment destination. Today, it welcomes up-and-coming artists across genres, including Congress The Band, blending indie rock, Americana, and Southern roots, and Australian guitarist Wade Forster.
