General Information
What do I need in order to check in at The Maven?
All guests checking-in will need a valid ID and a matching credit card. Guests must be 21 or older to check-in. At The Maven, we authorize for the cost of room and tax plus $100/per night to cover the cost of incidentals. No cash will be accepted as a form of payment at check-in.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that convenience and flexibility are needed now more than ever. Our standard cancellation policy has been updated to accept cancellations by 2 days (48 hours) prior to arrival to avoid the fee of one night’s room and tax.
Does the hotel allow smoking?
The Maven is a 100% non-smoking hotel. A $420 fee will be applied if smoking is detected.
Do you provide ADA compliant accommodations?

Are pets allowed at the hotel?
Yes, The Maven is a dog-friendly hotel! We welcome your furry friends to stay with us for a fee of $50/pet per night*. All we ask is that you sign a pet waiver upon arrival and that you limit two dogs per room. If a pet stains or damages the room, additional cleaning fees may be applied at the discretion of the Executive Housekeeper.

How do I get to the hotel?
The Maven is located between 18th and 19th on Wazee St. in historic Lower Downtown Denver. The entrance to our hotel can be found on Wazee Street next to Kachina Cantina’s outdoor patio. You can easily get to the hotel by driving, taking public transportation, or our favorite option – traveling by train. We are two blocks from Denver Union Station, so we are a convenient train ride on the A Line, directly to/from DIA ($10.50/Ride).
Driving directions
If you’re driving to The Maven from DIA, please take exit 274 from I-70W, follow Park Ave W. to 22nd Street, and turn right onto Blake Street. We are also two blocks from Denver Union Station and for convenience, we encourage you to take the A Line directly to/from DIA to the end of the line at Denver Union Station (which leaves every 15 minutes to/from the airport, $10.50/Ride).
Is parking available at the hotel?
On-property valet parking is available for hotel guests for $59 per car, per day.
Are you close to public transportation?
The Maven is located two blocks from Denver Union Station, which has a direct light-rail line to the airport. Guests can take the University of Colorado A Line to and from Denver International Airport. Union Station also provides access to local light-rail lines and bus routes.

Is there a fitness center?
Yes! We have a fully-equipped, 4,500+ square-foot Dairy Block Fitness Center, featuring modern cardio and weightlifting machines, free weights, a yoga room, and much more! Ask a Maven Front Desk Agent for your gym key during your next stay!
Do you provide dry cleaning/laundry?
Yes, we provide dry cleaning and laundry services at The Maven Monday - Friday.
Do you provide concierge services?
At The Maven, our Front Desk agents double as concierges. After all, we pride ourselves on being Mavens of hospitality AND Mavens of Denver. If you’re looking for recommendations or something fun to do, please visit our Front Desk and they’ll be happy to help you out.
What other services do you provide?

Dining
Does The Maven provide room service?
Room service is offered through Kachina Cantina. The menu is the red QR code located on your Maven key packet that you’ll receive once you check in! Guest can dial 0 to place your order with the front desk.
Does the hotel offer any dining options?
There are so many unique restaurants and bars right here at Dairy Block, open for both dine-in and carryout options. We highly recommend Kachina Cantina and Poka Lola Social Club, right off of our lobby. Enjoy southwestern cuisine and margaritas at Kachina, followed up with craft cocktails from Poka Lola's couch or outdoor patio. Plus, Maven guests can receive 15% off their meal at Kachina Cantina!
Weddings
Number of Venues/Maximum Capacity
The Windsor Room is 2,100 square feet and located adjacent to the main lobby of The Maven. Exposed red brick walls and beautiful hardwood floors make this naturally lit space the perfect room for any occasion. With the ability to accommodate up to 180 people normally, The Windsor Room offers versatile setup options with sliding glass doors that conveniently open into the Dairy Block Alley. The event space can also be separated into two smaller rooms, Windsor I, which is 1,080 square feet and faces Wazee Street, and Windsor II, which contains 936 square feet and faces the Dairy Block Alley. In addition to the multifaceted nature of this space, the venue features built-in Audio Visual—including a screen, projector, and high-speed Wi-Fi for guests to use.
Are there wedding planners on property?
We have a team of experienced event and sales managers to lead you through every step of the event planning process, but we do not offer full wedding-planning services onsite. Instead, your event sales manager is able to recommend some of our full-service, preferred wedding planners to match your unique taste and vision for your special day.
Do you offer on property catering services?
Yes – all of our catering is made in-house right here at Dairy Block and is lead by a team of culinary experts from our partner restaurant, Kachina Cantina.

Our Windsor Room is the ideal space for meetings and conferences. With an exciting location at the Dairy Block, our space offers 2,100 square feet of flexible event space in Denver. The unique meeting space can accommodate groups for an array of meetings or events, our ballroom splits into two sections and opens to The Alley.
What is the maximum capacity for event spaces?
