It’s officially fall, and with a new season comes plenty of reasons to get out and about. As the days get a little shorter and the air gets a little cooler, Denver comes alive with new events, seasonal flavors, and plenty of excuses to gather.
Whether you’re looking for an after-work activity, a full weekend itinerary, or simply a reason to spend the afternoon wandering, we invite you to explore a little further beyond the lobby and discover fall in downtown Denver.
MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE MARKET
Just steps from The Maven, Denver Milk Market is pulling out all the stops this fall with a lineup of happenings that are made for a quick stop by or a whole afternoon spent eating, drinking, crafting, and soaking up all that Dairy Block has to offer this season.
Starting October 1st, Wibby Brewing will take over the taps at Moo Bar with not one, not two, but four specialty brews available throughout the month. Pull up a seat and sip the Volksbier Vienna Amber, Wibtoberfest, or Lightshine Helles Lager. Prefer something with a little more hop? Grab the Jibby IPA for a little extra kick. And with the Great American Beer Fest returning to Denver October 10th - 11th, Wibby reps will be on site to talk all things beer and pass out some swag.
Your bestie deserves the hype: if you’ve got a single friend who you can’t stop talking about, join us for Pitch A Friend on October 9th from 6 - 8pm. You’ll have 5 minutes to convince Denver’s singles why your bestie deserves a date so build the deck, grab a bite, and let the matchmaking begin! You can RSVP here.
If you’re looking to tap into your creative side, stop by Fiction Craft Club on October 17th for an afternoon of crafting, books, and bites celebrating the release of the newest ACOTAR novel this fall. Bring your favorite read to bedazzle or come empty-handed, because The Shop at MATTER will also be popping up with a curated selection of books and junk journal supplies to help bring your creation to life.
Skip the post Halloween blues and head back to the Market on November 8th for a Book Swap with Denver Book Swap Society. Bring a book or two, grab a cocktail, and pick up a new read for winter. Tickets will be available soon beginning October 8th.

Your old gear deserves another lap. Bring your gently used goods, or just come to shop, at our Community Gear Swap in partnership with Friends of Berthoud Pass on October 4th from 11am - 3pm.
Whether you’re clearing out your gear closet, looking for a new-to-you find, or just want to swap trail stories, this one is for you. Swing by to shop or swap, meet fellow adventure seekers, and start getting stoked for the winter season ahead.
There will be drinks, music, and a raffle, plus reps from some of your favorite outdoor brands, including Flylow and Colorado Mountain Guides, will be on hand to chat and clear out last season’s goods at a steep discount.

For the month of October, Poka Lola transforms into Poka Luna, a hauntingly delightful experience where mischief waits around every corner, coupe glasses sparkle among candlelight, and every sip puts a spellbinding twist on an elevated classic.
The cocktail menu is full of tricks of its own, with drinks like the Cursed Skull, made with house coconut cream, nutmeg, planetary and rum, and Holy Water, featuring cream cheese-washed vodka and everything bagel seasoning. Because at Poka Luna, things are rarely quite what they seem.
And the cocktails aren’t the only reason to stay awhile. Throughout the month, there’s a new delight to discover each day, from the daily Witching Hour to Voodoo Vinyl, Tarot Tuesdays, and the ultimate Halloween bash on October 30th, Disco Mystique.
