With chillier weather on the way, we’re awaiting the holiday season in Denver’s LoDo neighborhood with the same anticipation that comes with the  first snow. From the excitement of holiday pop-up bars and markets to the nostalgia of rewatching your favorite seasonal classic, there’s one thing we’re particularly looking forward to this year: Dairy Block’s Mistletoe Market is back and bringing even more holiday cheer with a bigger market than ever before. So don your hats and gloves, grab a warm beverage, and step into the swirls of snow to take on the holidays in Denver with a little extra jingle all the way.

The Mistletoe Market is kicking things off on December 13 at 11am with photo-ops with your favorite green grouch: The Mean One himself! Bring the whole family for the perfect amount of holiday mischief: strike a pose and leave with an iconic photo that might just make your heart grow three sizes each time you look at it. 

We all know the story of The Mean One, so you can count on a line. While you wait for your photo be sure to digitally join the queue and head to Crumpet Cave for story time with Cindy Lou and your other favorite characters from the holiday classic. If story time isn’t the vibe, pop into Denver Milk Market and Deck The Dough with a holiday cookie decorating station and make (and eat) an irresistible treat. 

Then, tap into your creative side at our art station with Gallery on the Go in the lobby from 11am - 1pm, where you can paint your own miniature canvas to take home!

 

With over 30 vendors attending Mistletoe Market, you can bet you’re going to need something to hold all the goods; you can’t shop ‘til you drop without a bag to hold your finds! Choose to Shop The Season with a custom tote made just for Mavens, which includes a holiday playlist (go ahead, play the main character), keepsakes from local businesses and a map of Mistletoe Market. When you simply can’t shop anymore, cozy up and settle in at The North PL to enjoy a specialty, seasonal cocktail like the Feliz Navichata with a New Mexico red chile-infused real de valle reposado, or The Muffin Man with Michter’s Rye and a sprinkle of gingerbread spice to keep things sweet.

For Sunday Market goers, The North PL will Aprés The Day Away with a vinyl DJ, and a special flash tattoo pop-up on December 14 from 3 - 6pm.

Be sure to also take a peek at the special food menu available just for December. Choose from a burrrrrata charcuterie board, smash burger with brie, crispy brussels and other decadent indulgences to keep you warm from the inside out. You can visit The North PL for the entire month of December and check out all the goings-ons like Toys & ‘Tinis, White Elephant Wednesdays, and Mistletoe Martini Mondays.
